Raised on a heavy diet of Motown, blues and rock ‘n’ roll, Stefferson’s musical adventures have taken him far and wide. At school, he couldn’t decide whether to be a mod or rocker so he chilled with both.

In ‘85 he got all caught up in the explosion of hip hop, and decided he wanted some of the action.

In London, he was spinning rare groove, trip-hop and breakbeat; in Leeds he was smashing dance floors with hip-house, jungle and drum and bass. Today in Liverpool he’s the man about town, known for his disco pogo for punks in pumps! Hold tight, it’s Stefferson Airplane!
